About
OfflineQuest started as a group chat between a few friends who kept recommending each other games to play on trains and flights. The problem was always the same: half of what looked great online needed a constant connection, and the other half was buried under identical-looking lists. So we made a site where every game is tested offline first, on real phones, before it gets a single word written about it.,We're a small editorial team. Someone plays a game for at least a few hours, usually more, and then writes down what actually stuck. If a game bored us after twenty minutes, we say so. If it surprised us, we explain why. There's no scoring formula hidden in a spreadsheet — the ratings are just honest reflections of how much we wanted to keep playing.,Games get picked for a few reasons: they run without internet, they respect your time, and they do something interesting with the genre. We cover everything from slow strategy builders to quick arcade runs, so the catalogue stays mixed rather than drowning in match-three clones.,Nobody pays us to feature a game. We buy or download them like anyone else, and if our opinion changes after an update, we go back and edit the piece. That's the whole idea.
